I requested my account to be closed, why I am still receiving bills?
If you've followed the steps for closing your account (outlined in How do I close my residential account?) and haven't received your final bill, this may be because:
- In some instances, it can take up to six weeks to receive a final bill from the day you close your account.
- If your most recent bill was a final bill, there will be text at the bottom of the bill stating 'This is your closing bill'. If you're a paperless customer, you can sign in to your online account to view your most recent bill.
