_{Competition Terms and Conditions}

_{1. 1. This competition is open to all new or existing Bord Gáis Energy customers (aged 18 or over) who sign-up to a new Bord Gáis Energy gas, electricity or dual fuel offer online only during the month of November 2024.  Employees of Bord Gáis Energy or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or of its advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible to enter.} 

_{2. There are 3 prizes:}

• _{one free electricity supply for a year}
• _{one free gas supply for a year}
• _{one free dual fuel supply for a year.}

_{The value of the “free supply for a year” is in accordance with clause 5.}

_{3. All customers who successfully sign-up via the online channel only to Bord Gáis Energy for either Gas Supply and an Electricity Supply and a  Dual Fuel Supply during the month of November  2024 will automatically be entered into the prize draw. To be entered, a customer must have a successful registration with Bord Gáis Energy (as determined by Bord Gáis Energy).}

_{4. Successful sign-up via the online channel to Bord Gáis Energy for either Gas Supply, Electricity Supply or Dual Fuel Supply during the month of November must be completed by 30th November 2024 to be entered into the prize draw.}

_{5. 3 winners will be chosen randomly by Bord Gáis Energy. The prize awarded will depend on which contract the customer has signed up for (either electricity or gas or Dual Fuel).}

_{6. The prize is “free electricity OR free gas OR free Dual Fuel for 1 year”. This means the following amounts:}

• _{Electricity – free electricity for a year means €1800 (inc. VAT)}
• _{Gas – free gas for a year means €1482 (inc. VAT)}
• _{Dual Fuel – free dual fuel for a year means €3282 (inc. VAT)}

_{7. The amounts in Clause 5 represent Bord Gáis Energy’s Estimated Annual Bill (EAB) figures for Standard Gas and Urban 24-hour Electricity Tariffs at November 2024. See Our Tariffs & Prices for details.}

_{8. There will be no increase in the value of the prize as a result of any changes to energy prices. No additional amount will be placed on the account if the winning customer’s yearly usage exceeds this amount. If the prize money or part thereof remains unused by the winning customer at the end of the year, then any remaining amount will be retained on the customer’s electricity and/or gas account and be carried forward for the customer’s future payments for electricity and/or gas. If the winning customer closes their Bord Gáis Energy electricity or gas account, there will be no refund of any remaining prize money on the account.}

_{9. The prize will be awarded by placing the amounts set out in clause 5 (which includes VAT) on the winning customer’s electricity or gas account (depending on the prize that has been won).  For Dual Fuel, the amounts will be split across the Electricity and Gas Accounts. For Electricity this will be €1800 and for Gas this will be €1482 (inc. VAT).}

_{10. If the winning customer closes their Bord Gáis Energy electricity or gas account and moves to another supplier Bord Gáis Energy will not transfer any remaining prize money on the account to the new supplier or refund the prize money.}

_{11. The winning customer will not be permitted to transfer the prize money or part thereof from their electricity or gas account to any other Bord Gáis Energy account.}

_{12. The judge's decision on the winner is final.}

_{13. The winner shall allow 60 working days after the draw takes place for receipt of the prize or for the credit to appear on their Bord Gáis Energy electricity or gas accounts.}

_{14. The prize is offered as stated and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other prize.}

_{15. The promoter is Bord Gáis Energy Limited.}

_{16. Bord Gáis Energy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at their sole discretion}
