Careers in Bord Gáis Energy
Who we are
Energising a greener, fairer future
We’ve been one of Ireland’s leading energy and services providers since 1976. In July 2014, we joined Centrica plc, a global energy company active across the energy chain.
Today we provide gas, electricity and home services to more than 730,000 residential and business customers across Ireland.
As an energy services and supply company, we’re committed to creating a lower carbon future through sustainable solutions. Our 445MW plant at Whitegate, Co. Cork, puts us at the centre of energy security and decarbonisation in Ireland.
And we’re building on a heritage of innovation through a €300 million investment in two 100MW flexible gas peaking plants in Athlone and Dublin, helping balance the grid and supporting the growth of renewable energy.
