What is included in the Gas Boiler Warranty and who is eligible?

A 10 Year Gas Boiler Warranty is provided to any customer who has a gas boiler installed by Bord Gáis Energy or Local Heroes since 29 March 2021.

Once your boiler has been installed by Bord Gáis Energy or Local Heroes and paid in full, your 10 Year Boiler Warranty will start. 

If you've any issues with your boiler during the first 12 months of your warranty, see below:

• If your boiler was installed by Bord Gáis Energy, please sign in to your online account to book a repair, or call us on 01 611 01 45.
• If your boiler was installed by Local Heroes, please email Local Heroes at support@localheroes.ie.  

After the first 12 months, regardless of who installed your boiler, Bord Gáis Energy will be responsible for the remaining 9 years of warranty.

Your warranty also includes a free boiler service in the first year. After the first year, your boiler services will be chargeable. For more information, see Who do I contact to have my boiler repaired or serviced?
