What is a standard smart plan?

This is a time of use tariff, which is a price plan for customers who have a smart meter installed.

This tariff is split into three different time bands:

Rate	Time band
Day	8am to 5pm and 7pm to 11pm
Night	11pm to 8am
Peak	5pm to 7pm

Each time period has its own price for electricity, which means you can choose to do more at a time that costs less. Your smart meter data will be collected every two months, and you'll be billed every two months.
