Payment Plan - Expression of Interest Form

If you're having difficulty paying your bill, a payment plan may suit you. A payment plan allows you to make regular payments to pay an outstanding balance on your account. 

On a payment plan you can choose to pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Payments can be made online, by phone or using the Bord Gáis Energy app.

Important information about payment plans
  • A payment plan helps you to pay your current outstanding balance. It doesn't cover future consumption.
  • Monthly payment plans will have their first payment within a month from when the payment plan is created.
  • Weekly or fortnightly payment plans will have their first payment within a week from when the payment plan is created.
  • You'll receive a reminder SMS text message two days before you're due to make a payment on your payment plan.
  • If you pay your bills by direct debit, your direct debit payments will continue to be processed for future bills.
  • Setting up and maintaining your payment plan means we'll stop any collections activity on your account and your supply is not at risk, but you must maintain your repayments.

If you don't have an outstanding balance on your account, but still wish to make regular weekly or monthly payments towards your bills, you can set up a scheduled payment on your online account
