I have a Pay As You Go meter and am a vulnerable customer, can I change to a credit meter? 

Yes, if you’re a vulnerable customer, you can change to a credit meter, free of charge. 

If you’re a special/priority services customer and have a Pay As You Go (PAYG) meter, please contact us. We’ll arrange to have a standard credit meter fitted at your property, free of charge. 

Please note:  

  • Special services customers with a credit meter will not be disconnected for non-payment between November and March. 
  • Priority customers with a credit meter will not be disconnected for non-payment at any time of the year. 

The above does not apply if you’re on a PAYG meter.
