How does Power Flushing work?
Power Flushing can help where:
- Your heating system is slow to warm up
- There are cold spots in the middle of radiators
- Your boiler is making unpleasant noises
During the appointment, the service engineer will drain your system and connect the power flushing machine. The boiler, pipes and radiators are then flushed with a cleaning chemical. They will add a corrosion inhibitor to prevent corrosion occurring. In total the process can take anywhere from five to eight hours.
To complement our Power Flushing service, we can now install a central heating system filter on the same day as your Power Flushing job. The additional charge would be applied to your Services bill.
A central heating system filter is a small, yet powerful device that fits by your boiler or hot water cylinder. It captures damaging debris and sludge from the water in your heating system and prevents it from entering your boiler and causing damage. It’ll protect your boiler and radiators and help the heating system to last long and work more efficiently.
