Electric Vehicle (EV) Plans Explained
Our EV plans offer customers lower rates when they charge their electric vehicle overnight.
Signing up to an EV plan can save you money. If you've a smart meter, we’ll give you a lower price for the electricity you use at night between 2am and 5am, so you can charge your EV for less at these times.
Our EV plans can help you to be kinder to the environment and support Ireland’s acceleration to a greener, cleaner future.

If you don’t have an EV charger, you can still sign up for an EV plan. However, you'll get the most benefit out of this plan if you own and charge your electric car at home.
Please note:
- You must have a smart meter to avail of our EV plans.
- Pay As You Go customers are not eligible for EV plans.
- Level Pay is not available as a payment method for EV plans.
