How do I read my electricity meter?

If you have a regular (non-quarter hourly) electricity meter, your meter will be read four times a year, so your other two bills will be estimates. To increase the accuracy of your bills, you should submit your own meter reading. If you have an online account you can submit a meter reading online. If you are a registered user please sign in here

If you haven't already signed up for an online account, register now.

To help increase the accuracy of your bills, the following options are various ways that you can submit a meter read.

If you're not registered for an online account, you can also call ESB Networks directly at 1800 33 77 77. Please have your MPRN and your meter reading to hand. Your MPRN can be found on the top right of your electricity bill.
