What does the error message on my PAYG electricity meter mean?
The following messages appear if your PAYG electricity meter has not accepted the power code.
Duplicate
Code has already been entered on the meter. The meter doesn’t allow the same code to be entered twice.
Incorrect
The incorrect code has been entered.
Wrong Tar
The previous 40 or 60 digit top up code purchased was not entered.
KB lock
The code has been entered incorrectly five times. Wait four minutes until the message clears, then you can re-enter the code.
Error
There was a delay of more than 20 seconds in entering the code. Press the * button and re-enter the code.
