What does the Error Message on my electricity meter mean ?

The following messages will appear if the power code has not been accepted: 

Duplicate:  
  • Code has already been entered on the meter. The meter will not allow the same code to be entered twice. 
Incorrect:  
  • The incorrect code has been entered 
Wrong Tar:  
  • Previous 40 or 60 digit top up code purchased was not entered. 
KB lock:  
  • Code has been entered incorrectly 5 times. Wait 4 minutes until the message clears and re-enter the code.  
Error:  
  • There was a delay of more than 20 seconds in entering the code. Press * button again and re-enter code
