Bord Gáis Energy announces One Stop Shop for Irish homeowners
Supporting customers through a range of retrofitting and energy efficiency solutions
10 February 2025: Bord Gáis Energy has announced a new One Stop Shop service aiming to support customers in decarbonising their homes and work towards reaching net-zero. The One Stop Shop offering has been recognised by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). It comes as Bord Gáis Energy commits to reaching net-zero as a business by 2040, five years earlier than originally planned.
The One Stop Shop will enable Bord Gáis Energy’s 730,000 customers to access a full range of retrofit products nationwide, guided by engineers and experts on all aspects of retrofitting and energy efficiency.
Through the One Stop Shop, customers will be able to avail of services including insulation of roofs, attics, floors and walls (external wrapping, internal dry-lining, cavity wall pumping), mechanical ventilation and demand control and heat recovery mechanical, windows and doors and air tightness upgrades.
Bord Gáis Energy customers also benefit from the bespoke Hive app which offers a centralised place to manage EV charging and heat pumps remotely.

Now, through the Bord Gáis Energy One Stop Shop service, we can help residential customers to decide on the green energy transition option that works best for them and deliver that end to end. Bord Gáis Energy has the ambition to become the number one provider of net zero services in Ireland.

This builds on the success of Bord Gáis Energy’s existing home and business energy efficiency offerings, such as solar and heat pumps, and offers support on a range of cumulative measures required for deep retrofits, including access to grants and green finance.
Bord Gáis Energy has been energising a greener, fairer future through investment and partnerships. In November 2024, Bord Gáis Energy announced the acquisition of solar PV installation company Swyft Energy to expand its solar offering to customers, with the aim of 10,000 new solar installations over the next five years. A long-standing partnership with the Irish Farmer’s Association has also delivered 200 solar installations on farms.
